Mortality is one of the most important indicators of the quality of healthcare services. High mortality rates in hospitals may indicate potential quality issues that require corrective actions, such as implementing an Early Warning System (EWS). Their level of knowledge influences the successful implementation of EWS by nurses. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the implementation of EWS by nurses in the inpatient wards of Poso Regional General Hospital. This research design uses a descriptive correlational approach with a cross-sectional method. The study population consisted of nurses in the inpatient wards of Poso Regional General Hospital, with a sample size of 56 nurses. Data were analyzed using the Fisher exact test. The results showed that the majority of respondents had good knowledge (96.4%), and the implementation of EWS by nurses was in a good category (85.7%). There is a significant relationship between nurses' knowledge and the implementation of EWS (p=0.000). Efforts to improve knowledge about the implementation of EWS need to be enhanced through training and information refreshment.
