Article Processing Charges

Jurnal Keperawatan Tropis Papua (JKTP) is a fully open-access journal. To sustain the costs of peer review management, editorial processing, copyediting, and online publication, JKTP charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance of a manuscript for publication.

1. SUBMISSION FEE

There is no submission fee. Authors are not required to pay any charge at the point of submission.

2. ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGE

The APC is charged only upon acceptance of a manuscript following peer review. Manuscripts that are rejected are not subject to any charge.

Submitted on or before 31 December 2025	IDR 300,000
Submitted on or after 1 January 2026	IDR 500,000

The applicable APC is determined by the date on which the manuscript is first submitted to JKTP, not the date of acceptance or publication.

3. EDITORIAL INDEPENDENCE

APC payment has no influence on editorial decisions. All manuscripts are evaluated solely on the basis of scientific merit, originality, and relevance to the journal's scope. The peer review process is conducted independently of financial considerations.

4. WAIVER POLICY

JKTP does not currently offer APC waivers or discounts. All accepted manuscripts are subject to the APC applicable at the time of submission, regardless of the authors' institutional affiliation, country of origin, or funding status.

5. PAYMENT PROCEDURE

Authors will be notified of the payment procedure upon acceptance of their manuscript. Payment details and instructions will be provided by the editorial office. Publication will proceed after confirmation of payment receipt.
