Stress is one of the mental health problems commonly experienced by university students, particularly final-year students who face high academic demands. Music therapy is a nonpharmacological intervention that can be used to help reduce stress through relaxation effects and emotional regulation. This study aimed to analyze the effect of K-pop music therapy on stress levels among final-year students. This study employed a quasi-experimental design using a one-group pretest–posttest approach. The sample consisted of 25 final-year students selected through purposive sampling. Stress levels were measured using the DASS-21 questionnaire (stress subscale) before and after the intervention. The results showed a significant reduction in stress scores after the implementation of K-pop music therapy, from a mean score of 18.56 at baseline to 7.08 after the intervention (p < 0.001). After the intervention, the majority of respondents who were previously categorized as having mild to moderate stress showed improvement to the normal stress category (96%). K-pop music therapy has the potential to serve as a simple, affordable, and easily accessible supportive intervention to help reduce stress among final-year students.
