ASPEK PSIKOSOSIAL PEREMPUAN YANG MENJALANI KEMOTERAPI
PSYCHOSOCIAL ASPECTS OF WOMEN UNDERGOING CHEMOTHERAPY
Abstract
Kemoterapi merupakan salah satu pengobatan kanker yang bekerja dengan cara menghancurkan struktur atau metabolisme sel kanker dengan tujuan untuk menghambat terjadinya metastase. Namun kemoterapi juga memiliki efek samping yang merugikan fisik maupun psikososial. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran aspek psikososial perempuan yang menjalani kemoterapi. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah total sampling dengan sampel berjumlah 70 responden pasien perempuan yang menjalani kemoterapi di RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Psychosocial Distress Questionnare-Breast Cancer. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan analisis univariat untuk melihat gambaran karakteristik dan aspek psikososial responden. Hasil penilitian menunjukkan mayoritas responden berusia dewasa (25-65 tahun) (94,3%), diagnosa terbanyak kanker payudara (38,6%), stadium kanker pada stadium IIA (34,3%), lama diagnosa kanker > 6 bulan – 1 tahun (35,7%), frekuensi kemoterapi terbanyak adalah kemoterapi ke 2 (24,3%) dan mayoritas responden didampingi suami selama menjalani kemoterapi (45,7%). Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan hasil bahwa 57,1% responden tidak mengalami distres psikososial dan 42,9% responden lainnya mengalami distres psikososial. Gambaran aspek psikososial mayoritas perempuan yang menjalani kemoterapi di RSUD Arifin Achmad adalah tidak mengalami distres psikososial.
