Abstract

Peran perawat sebagai advokat klien menuntut perawat untuk dapat mengidentifikasi dan mengetahui nilai-nilai tentang peran advokat, hak-hak klien, perilaku professional, dan hubungan klien-keluarga-dokter. Di samping itu, pengetahuan dan pendidikan yang cukup sangat diperlukan untuk memiliki kompetensi klinik sebagai syarat untuk menjadi advokat klien. pengetahuan yang tinggi tentang peran advokat klien dapat menjadi pendukung bagi perawat utnuk menerapkan peran advokat secara optimal.
